Friars Gate Theatre & Arts, viewed 788 times
This 130 seater venue hosts a wide variety of performances, contemporary drama, theatre and drama resented by professional and amateur groups, performances in dance/ ballet, traditional Irish Music, cabarets, jazz and comedy.
Art gallery also on site with monthly exhibitions by local, national and international artists of all disciplines.
Workshops in arts and crafts, music and drama are held weekly for children and teenagers as well as week long summer camps.
Friars Gate is also home to the Ballyhoura Heritage Hub which provides a focal point for the various heritage attractions within the Ballyhoura region by means of a digital kiosk and literature collated on the heritage of the area.
